Google Now is getting more and more useful by the day. The latest addition to the assistant in your pocket is the inclusion of police alerts. Tipsters and users over at reddit have recently reported seeing police alert cards pop up on their devices, allowing them to see criminal activity in their area. Pictured below, the alert cards look to provide a brief summary of the alert, with the option to tap through and read more if one desires.   google_now_police_act     These alerts appear to be the result of some server-side tinkering by Google, so there’s no need to wait for an app update to roll out.
